White gold brings out diamonds' light

The essential colour of white gold brings out diamonds’ light, intensifying diamonds’ important feature “colorless”.

A magic comes out when the “invincible stone”, as the diamond is known, is joined with “the noblest among metals”, as the alchemist used to call gold, because it is one of the least reactive chemical elements in nature.

The colour of the gold comes from the choice of alloy: the jewelry gold, defined as “18 carats”, is composed of pure gold for 750/1000, while the remaining 250/1000 are made of a mix of metals able to change the alloy colour. To obtain the white gold, silver, palladium or nickel have to be added; the yellow, pink or red gold are made alloying gold with silver and an increasing percentage of copper.
