Quality controls inside the Hausmann & Co. Service Centre

During an overhaul in our Service Centre, a careful eye always looks to your watch. Even at the end of the watchmaking work: a strict quality control procedure is defined in order to ensure to every customer the best service each time we deliver an overhauled watch.

We test water resistance or waterproofness, depending on the kind of watch we deal with, using specific machines that creates different level of pressure with air or with water.

Of course, we also test the quality of the functioning of the watch: its precision, and its charging system. All these tests will take an average of one week to be completed.

Before the watch is returned to the customer, a final control held by the Technical Manager of the Service Centre, Mr. Fabio Schiavetti, will ensure that all the functions of the watch work perfectly, and that the beating and precision of the watch is compliant with the standard defined by the Maisons.

The last look at the watch comes from the Service Centre Manager, Mr. Daniele Maffia, in order to give a final look both aesthetical and functional to the watch, guaranteeing an Hausmann & Co. standard to all our works.

The same procedure is applied to the overhauls made directly by the Maisons: before delivering the watch back to the owner, we test the quality of the work that has been done. Of course we trust the excellent quality of the Headquarters, but to our customer we want to ensure the Hausmann & Co. quality.
