Some watches have a sensitive minute hand, and you can notice it just during time setting. In these mechanisms, due to technical choices of the manufacturer, it is enough skimming the extracted crown to move markedly the minute hand, making difficult a precise time setting. To avoid this problem, it is sufficient moving the minute hand more than necessary and then moving it backwards until it signs the exact hour.
