Gérald Genta: the designer of the modern watchmaking

The  touch of the designer Gérald Genta defined the feature of the “generation” of sport watches of the 70s. Watches that are, still nowadays, a dream of many watch collectors.

Gérald Genta designed the Nautilus, by Patek Philippe, the Royal Oak by Audemars Piguet and the Ingenieur by IWC.

An additional feature tied three among those four watches, who were equipped with the same ultrathin caliber by Jaeger-LeCoultre. As all the watch lovers know, this is the movement JLC 920 ultra-thin, which was called 28-255 on the Patek Philippe, and 2121 on the Audemars Piguet.
