Fifth edition of the Hausmann & Co-Patek Philippe Award: the winners of 2017

It is the fifth year that Hausmann & Co. e Patek Philippe invest on young talents with an Award dedicated to student excelling during their studies. As in watchmaking it is necessary a double soul, one dedicated to mechanics and science, the other one to craftmanship and aesthetic, in the same way the Award is dedicated one year to scientific studies, the following year to arts.

2017 is dedicated to the Cinema, celebrating the talents of the most esteemed cinema institution in Italy: Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Experimental Cinematography Centre) Foundation.

A money prize will be given to the Director of the best short movie on the theme “the Time and the Cinema”. The winner is the short movie “Ephemeral”, by the direction of Matteo Trincanato, Guido Pedroni, Bejna Hoxha and Alessandro Marin!

Three Hausmann & Co. watches will be given to the best actors studying in the Centre. And 16 more money prizes will be given to the best cinematography professionals studying at the Centre.

The award cerimony will be held in the magnificent Michelangelo’s Cloister within the Bath of Diocleziano on June, 17th 2017.
