Hausmann & Co. worked together with many Italian Institutions since even before Italy was a Republic.

A paper correspondence among Hausmann & Co. and Mr. Koch, the Architect who designed the historical building of Bank of Italy, dates the relationship with Italian Central Bank at the end of XIX century.

The Architect Mr. Koch chose the watchmakers of Hausmann & Co. certain of their mastery, and sure of an outstanding work, guaranteed by the same progeny: he was also a descendant of the painter Joseph Anton Koch, like Ernst Hausmann.

At the same age an inventory was made to map all the existing clock belonging to the Bank of Italy, in order to quantify the support needed from Hausmann & Co. in their maintenance.
